Our Goal
ModTimber is a San Francisco modern furniture company dedicated to sustainability and creating timeless designs. The primary intent of Modtimber is to create useful, useable, and desirable products that customers can afford. Many of the items we create utilize materials that have been reclaimed, recycled, or otherwise rejected from their original function. We believe that real design is not disposable, but should have a long life in order to be reused.
About Our Vision
Designs are modern classic, one that would outlive trendy aesthetics or cheap construction. Where many other comparable products may deteriorate or fall out of style over time, we uses superior craftsmanship, the highest quality materials, and clean simple lines to ensure longevity and sustainability. Each piece of furniture is made of solid reclaimed wood, free of formaldehyde glue and other toxins. By using reclaimed materials, we are able to maximize the yield from each piece and virtually eliminate waste. All of the pieces are sealed with natural oil finishes. Made from linseed oil, the finish is VOC-free and solvent-free.

Because we spend time making a special order and size it specially for our clients, once a deposit is made we cannot refund the deposit. All deposits go towards materials and labor to constuct your unique furniture.
